Moving deeper in

This city I live in is changing demographically. The baby boomers have found a hidden gem, moved out of the bright lights into burbs with one storey shop houses selling things only affordable to them. So we moved again. Further in. A place with a backyard, and our own room away from everything. We now move to a place far away from good food, garish clothing and fashion, and people, into a neighbourhood where people are just glad to have some peace and stability and a quiet place to exist. And that is what I seek now. Going out and hanging out is becoming a more and more tiring and loathsome activity. What I seek, and possibly find, is a place to stay still. Stay silent. Alone. To peacefully finish my duties and responsibilities. To push my boundaries to be the best that I can be.
