Sunday Evening

I thought it would have been nice
If I had lived my life in the Antarctic,
being an eskimo in a world of ice,
fishing and drinking for a living.
Then I realized that I would have already
been born there doing that if that was the
route my life was meant to take.

Someone once said it was better
to do one's own job badly than
to do another man's job.

Today I heard lyrics and vocals
lifted directly from a social comedian into a
hip hop rnb track.

And before I slept I caught a documentary on Fandor. 10:28 is the scene that
was more real than anything I have ever see on anyone else's face in some time..

This separation of time and work and relaxation all neatly divisioned up into our life is such a topsy turvy illusion. It is only as an agent that one can say "to take a day off" and be irresponsible. Only modern society has allowed this delusion to seep into our lives and create emotional turmoil.

On the contrary, each day should be carried on like a calm wave and nothing else. Find the Atman within, embrace the thinker behind the thought concept, and live eternally in bliss.

Engage in action only because this was meant to be a joyful act.
