A Collage of Books

These were the list of books I read today that I had pieced together to arrive at a semi conclusion.

Book 1 of the history of the world gave me the realization that the abstract conceptualization of the after life appeared even before the neanderthal man, implied from excavatory findings that had buried their dead with certain rituals and belongings.

God Delusion by Richard Dawkin on morality and religion, whether morality can be found only through an absolutist viewpoint, or whether morality can be deduced with secular humanistic reasoning. Also, a chapter on the old testament and the bastarded things that the Isreal God made mortals do to one another. Daughters that were sacrificed, genocides, scapegoats, and various immoralities that are deeply disconcerting.

they Chasing Dayleight by Eugen O Kelley on his final days before death. That he felt connected with the other side, that his journey into death was serene, pure, tranquil, perfect.

And I went to the list of secular atheist websites offered by richard dawkin in his back pages, wishing to find solace in a community of perhaps like minded individuals. After seeing where each org stood, I left each site one by one, becoming more certain that there is not one community that entirely knows the truth. For if the way and the truth can be found, it will always degenerate through its transmission medium.

And i came to the conclusion that my beliefs are mine to hold alone. That no community nor group will be able to expound or further my clarity in my own destiny. That I can only pick out bits and pieces from every resource available to me and further my own understanding.

Through meditation, I had a realization that I may be closer to my humanity than I would scarce claim myself.
